Mountain Aesthetic

This comprehensive remodel transformed a 1980s home into a mountain retreat that honors both its dramatic Longs Peak views and the owners' love of travel and natural materials. Delta Design Build reimagined the kitchen, living, dining, and entry spaces to create an open, cohesive design centered around craftsmanship and rustic elegance.

The project showcases extensive custom carpentry work, including hand-hewn timber beams with traditional joinery details that anchor the living spaces. A dry-stacked stone fireplace serves as the heart of the home, while a custom steel handrail—designed to evoke the organic forms of mountain branches—guides visitors through the entry. Wide-plank rustic flooring throughout ties the spaces together and reinforces the mountain aesthetic.

The kitchen features clean lines balanced with warm wood tones, creating a space that's both functional for modern living and in harmony with the home's natural, travel-inspired character. Every detail, from the beam notching to the banister metalwork, reflects Delta Design Build's integrated approach to architecture and construction.
